Board games are one of my family's favorite pastimes, and we are always looking for new and interesting games that we can enjoy together. Sometimes we play them on our own and sometimes they're a fun activity to enjoy with a big group of friends, so it's important to have a variety of different games we can choose from!
If your family is like mine, then you're probably always on the lookout for fun games to play together. At Mom's Choice, we have a wide collection of board games to choose from, so you're sure to find one that your whole family can enjoy! Here are some of our favorites:
Finger Food Frenzy
Created by Mindware
A fun, fast-paced board game that's exciting for the whole family, Finger Food Frenzy is a race to satisfy your cravings and be the first to fill your plate with delicious finger foods! Each player uses a tiny hand to try and grab as many tasty food chips as they can (which represent yummy snacks ranging from spicy tacos to shrimp sushi). The player who can fill six plates the fastest will win the game (and the title of Ultimate Foodie Champion). This game is sure to become a family favorite and will satisfy all your board game cravings!
Narwhal Waterfall Cooperative Game
Created by Mindware
Made for players ages 6 and up, Narwhal Waterfall is an adorable cooperative board game where you and your little ones must work together to get the narwhals safely across the river. The moving game board adds an extra challenge to the game, so you have to be careful and calm to make sure your narwhals don't fall down the waterfall! This game is incredibly fun and helps teach your child about the value and importance of teamwork, while also encouraging quick problem-solving skills. Everyone wins and loses together, making Narwhal Waterfall a wonderful game to foster feelings of kindness and connection.
What Would You Choose
Created by Quokka
Card games and board games are closely related, so of course we had to include both on our list! What Would You Choose is an exciting quiz game where players take turns guessing the answers to silly dilemmas and challenging questions. With over 500 questions available, What Would You Choose is not only entertaining and educational, it's also funny! You and your little ones are sure to get hours of laughs from this award-winning game that you can play any time - it's perfect for rainy days, holiday hangouts, and long car rides.
Tapple
Created by The Op Games
Coming from a family of musicians and librarians means that my family loves word games, so I'm always on the lookout for fun board games that offer a little bit of creative wordplay. Tapple is definitely the perfect game for a family like mine. A fast-paced word game that has players racing against the clock to tap out as many words as possible in ten seconds, Tapple tests your quick thinking and fast fingers! It's equipped with category cards and a portable wheel, making this game easy to set up and so much fun to play. You and your family are sure to enjoy that challenge of trying to think (and type) quickly before the timer runs out.
Blank Slate
Created by The Op Games
Another fun word game for the whole family, Blank Slate is a board game where players try to complete the phrase on the Word Cue card and have it match another player's answer. However, you aren't allowed to give any hints, so you just have to hope you and the other player are on the same page! It's easy to learn and use, with 250 Word Cue cards (and 500 cues in total) and dry-erase slate boards and markers to write with. This game is simple to play, effortless to use, and fun to win!
Curious Kingdom Story Starters
Created by Playper
Curious Kingdom Story Starters is a little different from the other games on this list, but it's just as fun and exciting as the rest! Great for imaginative and creative minds, this card-based activity kit challenges young storytellers to make their own story using a character card, location card, and one or two object cards chosen from the piles. They can act, draw, recite, or sing their stories, making it a great opportunity to encourage their little one's creativity and imagination. Fun and educational, Curious Kingdom Story Starters is appropriate storytellers ages 3 and up.

Great choice of board games! I love playing board games but never seem to have the time to enjoy them as much now; maybe someday I’ll get around to playing them again. Thanks for sharing!
This post brings up such wonderful memories from my childhood; we would always play a lot of board games when I was a kid. My mom, dad and sister would all play.
My wife and I enjoy playing board games with our grandchildren. “Pie in the Face,” was a riot at our house, lol!!
These look great!
Board games are fun.
