Jojo Lomelino is a 6-year-old girl who seems to have a lot of things figured out very early on in life. In an adorable video taken by her father, Jojo lays down the law to her dad on just how hard it is to be a Mommy.

The video opens up by Jojo critiquing the way her dad sent her 10-year-old sister to bed (which is pretty darn cute in and of itself!). He  listens, then sighs and says, “It’s hard to be a dad.” That’s when Jojo jumps into a mini-tirade that is both sweet and hilarious.

She immediately refutes his statement by making sure he realizes that it’s actually hard being a mom, not a dad! “Daughters think it’s so easy to be a mom, but when they grow up they’re like, Wow! I didn’t know it would be that hard!” She goes on to talk about how little girls pretend to be moms when they play, thinking it’s easy to feed babies and tell them what to do, but when it comes down to it, it’s really not as simple as it looks.

Her dad agrees, “It is hard to be a mom.”

Her concluding statement is summed up in this: “I don’t want to be a mom, I want to be a child, it’s way easier to be a child.”

We can’t say we disagree with you, Jojo! For now, we know your parents are grateful for such an appreciative and insightful daughter.

  1. She is so cute, but right! As little girls we probably all pretended to be a mom with our baby dolls! At least she got Daddy to get it!

  2. No it’s not easy as it seems, the physical and emotional needs a child require is hard work but so worth it! She’s so cute and have it figure out already!
