MCA: Welcome, Julia! Please tell us something about yourself.    

My name is Julia Maria Georgescu, and I’m the co-founder of Mind-Glowing. With a background in design and marketing, I’ve always had a passion for creating meaningful products that inspire imagination and connection. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching movies, traveling, or spending time with family.

MCA: Tell us about the creation of your company and your current role.

Mind-Glowing was born out of a desire to make everyday life a little more magical. My co-founder and I wanted to create products that were not only functional but also sparked imagination and joy in homes around the world. I currently oversee product design and brand strategy, ensuring our vision comes to life in everything we create.

MCA: What needs were you trying to fill when you created your product?

The Mind-Glowing Astronaut Projector was designed to bring the wonder of space exploration into homes. We wanted to create a product that fosters curiosity and imagination while providing a calming atmosphere. It’s perfect for bedtime routines, creative play, or simply transforming a room into a dreamy galaxy.

Aside from the Astronaut Projector, we also have the Mind-Glowing Moon Lamp and Galaxy Lamp, which share the same mission of bringing the wonder of space into homes.

The Mind-Glowing Moon Lamp features a realistic lunar surface design, a soft ambient glow, and adjustable brightness levels to suit any mood or occasion. Its serene light makes it perfect for creating a relaxing atmosphere, whether for bedtime or quiet evenings.

The Mind-Glowing Galaxy Lamp offers stunning, multicolored nebula projections that fill an entire room with mesmerizing patterns. It also features adjustable brightness and color modes, allowing users to customize their own galactic experience.

These products foster curiosity and imagination while providing a calming atmosphere. Whether it’s the enchanting patterns of the Galaxy Lamp, the magical glow of the Moon Lamp, or the interactive Astronaut Projector, each one transforms a room into a dreamy, inspiring space while offering practical and functional lighting.

MCA: What imaginative products. Could you tell us about the research that went behind the Astronaut Projector’s unique features?

Our Astronaut Projector combines cutting-edge LED projection technology with a fun, kid-friendly design. Its unique features include:

• A high-quality starry sky projection with multiple colors and modes.
• A playful astronaut figure that’s perfect for space enthusiasts of all ages.
• A 360-degree rotating head, allowing users to direct the galaxy wherever they like.
• Personalized blue pads for our little space cadets.

We also focused on ensuring the product was easy to use, durable, and safe for children.

MCA: What age groups was it designed for?
The Astronaut Projector appeals to a broad audience. It’s perfect for kids aged 3 and up, teens who want to add a unique touch to their rooms, and even adults looking to create a relaxing atmosphere.

MCA: What kind of feedback have you received about these products?
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! Parents have told us how the projector has made bedtime easier and more enjoyable for their little ones. Teens love using it to personalize their space, and adults appreciate the calming ambiance it creates for winding down after a long day.

MCA: What is next for you and your product line? Do you have other products in the works?
Absolutely! At Mind-Glowing, we’re always working on innovative ideas.We’ve just launched our Zen Moon Lamp. The Zen Moon Lamp features a soft, ambient glow that creates a serene environment, perfect for meditation, relaxation, or simply adding a cozy touch to any room. What makes the Zen Moon Lamp truly unique is its integrated breathing exercise technology, which guides users through calming routines using rhythmic light pulses. It’s designed to help reduce stress and enhance mindfulness practices.

Alongside the Astronaut Projector, Moon Lamp, and Galaxy Lamp, we offer other popular products like our Toilet Light and Photo Clip String Lights. Each is designed to add creativity and comfort to people’s lives.
