Woke up this morning to headline news reports about the profound impact that the COVID-19 crisis is having on our mental health, adults and children alike.
I bought these adorable 𝟱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 for all 3 of my children, a while back. At first, we used them religiously, but as is the case with many of our well-intended parenting practices, they fell by the wayside in the midst of our busy and chaotic lives.
Today’s news report seemed like a great reason to dust them off and start back up again. This time, I found an unused journal for myself. Nothing fancy.
Starting each day with just a 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 of personal reflection and gratitude for our blessings in life — no matter their size—
After all, there is always something to be grateful for There is always 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 🌟
Throughout the inevitable ups and downs of their lives, I hope that my children will continue this practice and share it with those who may need to be reminded…
✨𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. ✨
