𝙃𝙤𝙬’𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙗𝙚?
You know. Your 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦.
When Elizabeth Gilbert’s 𝘉𝘐𝘎 𝘔𝘈𝘎𝘐𝘊 sets up camp in your brain space, and everything in your core is nudging you to 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘴 ✨
You’ve found a passion, a big idea, a new adventure and you’re going for it!

How’s your 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲?
When I knew for sure that I had my first children’s book idea and that I was 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘵, I felt more 𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 than 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙.
Some of you know exactly what I mean.
The nagging pit in your gut—the instinct that warns you about people who 𝙙𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 to knock it out of the park
Or perhaps 𝙁𝙀𝘼𝙍 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 to knock it out of the park.
How’s your 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲?
Because Friend, you were put on this planet by something so much greater, because you are 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 to 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳.
When your 𝘉𝘐𝘎 𝘔𝘈𝘎𝘐𝘊 strikes, your 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 will
𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪,
𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪,
𝙋𝙪𝙨𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪,
𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪,
𝘐𝘎𝘕𝘐𝘛𝘌 𝘠𝘖𝘜 into everything you were destined to be.
Frankly, I don’t care if you’re hell bent on selling ice to Eskimos. If your 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 leaves you feeling terrified…
If your 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲 is 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯,
It’s NOT. YOUR. TRIBE.
𝗖𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘.
𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩 𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘥, 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥. 𝘞𝘦’𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘱.

I love this. We all have to knock out our fear and find our abilities.
I am in my sixties. My grandmother was always our biggest critic. My earliest memories are of her saying “What will people think?” I still have that voice running through my mind on occasion. However, in my teen years I rebelled and came to the conclusion people will think what they think no matter what I do. Over the years I have found my “tribe” whose main core is my sisters. We stand up for each other and encourage each other to overcome our fears and follow our dreams of adventure and whatever we are passionate about.
