As a stay-at-home mom, it’s safe to say that you’ve already got your plate for. Whether you’re trying to keep the house nice and tidy, run around trying to complete the endless list of jobs on your list or, of course, caring for your little bundle of joy, sometimes they’re simply not enough hours in the day.
However, for those parents who get everything done and keep on top of things, while you might not be able to go to work, you can still earn money from the comfort of your own home, thanks to the wonders of the internet.
With these jobs, you can work your own hours, get paid and still do all the jobs you did before, enabling you to make it easier to the bills, save for a holiday, or treat yourself or your children! Not sure where to begin? Here’s a list of jobs to get you started.
Bonus Tip – Many of the jobs listed below are writing jobs, mainly because that’s one of the best functions that you can do from a laptop at home. If you’re planning on writing but what to improve your skills, try using online tools like Via Writing, State of Writing and Grammarix.
Enter the Blogging World
The most common and perhaps most booming online industry to enter is blogging. You can site up to freelancer sites such as Upwork or People Per Hour to find jobs which will include writing blog posts, managing social media accounts and even more niche tasks like photo editing or VA work.
A Resume Writer
There are so many people out there that are trying to secure the job of their dreams but are failing to secure interviews thanks to their poor-quality resume. Regardless of whether they have the time or simply don’t have the writing skills, signing up to sites like Resumention will allow you to write resumes for others for cash.
A Tutor
As a tutor, you can connect with adults and students around the world to help educate them in a certain subject. You can use platforms such as Skype or services like Academized to connect with these students, teaching them about a subject you know well. As you’re already looking after one, maybe two children already, why not add some more to the pack by becoming a babysitter. This is a great way to get your children to meet and socialise with other children, and you can earn a bit of extra money while you’re doing it.

There are countless blogs online, each one trying to handle and deal with its own supply of content while trying to give their readers what they want. This is why the job of an editor has become so popular. Here, you’ll be able to handle and perfect content to make sure it’s perfect. An Academic Writer
Whether you’ve recently come out of education, had a career in academia or simply clued up on a certain subject, why not use these skills to earn a bit of extra cash. There are so many students out there that are willing to pay professionals like you help write their assignments. Selling Crafts
If you’re quite a creative person, why not start up your own online store, or at least open a seller account on sites like Etsy so you can start advertising and selling the things you make at home. From handy little crafts to greetings cards and jewellery, this is a great way to build up your customer base and to do something you love.

Online reviews have never been so important. More and more people want to read about people’s experiences before spending their own money on a product or service. By signing up to sites like UK Top Writers or Revieweal, you’ll be sent sites that you can go through and review, giving the rest of the world tour honest opinion.
