I attended Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite in NYC on a scorching Wednesday afternoon last month. I look forward to Sweet Suite every year because the newest and hottest toys are unveiled for the first time! It is so awesome to ooh and ahh over the latest toys that these creative masterminds come up with. This year did not disappoint!

And to make 2024’s event even more fun, it was a 90’s theme. It was like a trip down memory lane as I saw Rainbow Brite, Care Bears, SpongeBob SquarePants, and even the Energizer Bunny! Not only was the theme such fun, but the event was held at The Glasshouse, 660 12^th Avenue and the views were breathtaking as it looked out to the Hudson River.

As for the toys, it is always so great to check out some of our honorees’ new products. I got the chance to see what Tee Turtle, LEGO, Basic Fun!, Crayola, NSI, Boogie Board, UltraPro, Playmobil, Luki Lab, Hey Buddy Hey Pal, and so many more are going to excite you all with this fall. Plus getting the opportunity to chat with members of the toy industry is always a pleasure. The food was amazing from sliders to a mashed potato bar to a fajita bar to ice cream treats, even cotton candy.

Be forewarned, the toys you are going to see for 2024’s holiday season are not only remarkable they are extraordinary. Don’t be surprised if you discover some toys from your childhood are making a comeback. Be ready to play and be a kid again. I know I am!
