Troomi—Safe Smartphones for Kids
Is your child ready for a safe phone that does more?
Maybe they need apps for school, church or their favorite hobby. Or maybe they want a 50-megapixel camera that takes incredible photos. Perhaps you want them to learn responsible Internet usage with a safe browser!
Instead of limiting your child to talk and text, Troomi provides parents with the option of adding a safe browser and third-party apps that have been curated for safety. Give them the tools they need to safely thrive while preparing them for the future. Troomi devices provide the flexibility necessary to graduate children from one level of responsibility to the next based on needs and maturity—a phone that grows with your child without having to replace hardware.
Simplify your child’s safe phone with one service that does everything you need.
Pay for your safe phone and phone service in one place, with no extra subscriptions required.
Parent-approved contacts. Safelisted websites. Safe apps for school, music, and hobbies but no porn, predators, bullies, or social media. It doesn’t get any safer than that!
Troomi is the safe kids phone that prevents problems before they happen!
Don’t just monitor your kids and receive notifications AFTER they’ve had a problem. With Troomi, prevent problems by keeping kids away from pornography, predators and the dangers of social media to begin with.
Our mission is to provide kids with guardrails for safety and opportunities for growth, learning, personal discovery and preparation for the future. We do this by creating solutions that empower children to pursue their dreams vigorously through a safe, balanced relationship with technology.
We invite you to join us in that mission!

OmieBox
When founder Nancy Yen’s son started preschool, he refused to eat his lunch unless it was warm – like the lunches he was used to at home. Nancy searched high and low for a container that could pack hot and cold food together. When she couldn’t find anything, she decided to create it herself. What began as an invention of necessity is now OmieLife – a company whose mission is to solve real problems through innovative solutions.
Parents are on a mission to pack healthy lunches, and it’s no easy task. They worry about things such as allergies, sugar content and pesticides – not to mention the persnickety whims of their children! They even go so far as trying to make lunch fun. But much to their dismay these carefully crafted lunches come back uneaten or as a big heap of unidentifiable leftovers. Warm, unwrapped cheese sticks. Half-eaten mushy sandwiches. Squished strawberries that have drained into their child’s backpack.
This is exactly why we designed a bento box that protects all of that hard work and love that parents put into creating these lunches. OmieBox packs hot and cold food together through insulation technology. A thermos insert keeps food warm for up to 4 hours, and the box is double walled and air insulated to keep foods cool. It can be used in a variety of different ways, so parents can pack their kids’ favorite meals – no matter what it is!

How Many Kittens Can One Girl Have?: How Many Kittens Can Pearl Have?
Written by Robin Hollo
How Many Kittens Can One Girl Have? by Robin Hollo is a sweet book about a little girl who loves cats. Robin Hollo does a very nice job of writing this book, and I like the way she builds the anticipation about the other cats to get children excited about the book and Pearl’s furry friends. Hollo weaves the story together and comes up with a very sweet ending that makes everyone happy, even Nugget. I enjoyed how the illustrations, along with the author, bring the story to life on the pages of this beautiful book. The pictures have vibrant colors and I love that the watercolors are a nice fit for the story as well. I think How Many Kittens Can One Girl Have? can be a nice addition to your child’s library, elementary school library, or any classroom or daycare library. Your children will fall in love with Pearl and her kitty friends.
