When Dog Pals Fly Across Point Nemo
Written by Rob Kortus; Illustrated by Meghan Hoffman

When Dog Pals Fly Across Point Nemo: Interest & Reading Level: 6 – Adult: Interactive educational book! Three brave and zany dog pals helicopter around the world, keeping it safe from a dominant honey badger (Rottilus) and his army. Border collies, Sophie (the leader and brave one) and Wallace (the spazzy goof-ball) along with Chocolate Lab mix Sulley (the uptight over-thinker) were born into a post-apocalyptic world populated by anthropomorphic animals. After their parents mysteriously disappeared when they were young, the pups were raised by their wacky but wise grandmother, Memuzzer, who still guides, inspires, and patches their flight pants. The dog sibs now run a successful helicopter business (Fly Dogs Inc.) out of their jungle tree-fort, giving tours, rides, and lessons to other animals in their secluded jungle town, but occasionally they have to drop everything to go save the world. The dog pals main adversary is a narcissistic, vindictive honey-badger named Rottilus that’s had it out for them since grade school. Now, Rottilus is the leader of a massive evil army-for-hire which consists of animal soldiers and spies. Rottilus is petty, vain, boastful, greedy, unafraid of anything, and because of that has no friends. Luckily for him, but unluckily for everyone else, he’s rich enough to pay for an army to take over the world so he can force everyone to worship and like him. The dog pals will do their best not to let Rottilus take over the world!
