Good Dogs, Great Listeners is a special children’s book written in memory of Charlotte Helen Bacon. Charlotte died during the tragic events on December 14, 2012, at Sandy Hook Elementary school. Her parents, Joel and JoAnn Bacon, wanted a way to share their bold and curious daughter and chose to celebrate the way she lived and all that she aspired to be. They collaborated with award winning author and illustrator, Renata Bowers & Michael Chesworth, to write and publish a children’s book that would capture their daughter’s zest for life and protect her life story. This book has allowed them to continue to be Charlotte’s parents and create a lasting legacy.
All proceeds from the book support the Charlotte’s Litter™ therapy dog program.
